AWARENESS CAMP ON USE OF PLASTIC ON 23 OCT, 2019
Department of Commerce, G .M. N. College, Ambala Cantt organized an awareness camp on
the usage of plastic in collaboration with Government High School, Tundla (Ambala) on 23rd
October 2019. 34 Students from the Department of Commerce participated in the camp.
Dr. Surender Kumar was the in-charge of the camp. He told that the aim of the camp was to
create awareness among the students and teachers regarding the bad effect of usage of plastic.
Our student Himanshu Taneja delivered a fruitful lecture on the bad effects of usage of plastic on
human beings and the environment. He told that we should use cloth bags in place of plastic bags.
He motivated the school students and teachers to avoid the use of plastic bottles and prefer to use
brass, steel and glass bottles.
It was a learning experience for all students and teachers. Principal, Government High
School, Tundla appreciated the initiative taken by G .M. N. College, Ambala Cantt to organize
this awareness camp.
