EXRENSION LECTURE ON "CAREER COUNSELLING AND

The department of commerce organized an extension lecture on "Career Counselling and Interviewing Skills". Shri Ram Murti, H.O.D., Department of Commerce formally welcomed the resource person Dr. Arun Kant, Department of Management, Baddi University. He explained the students about the importance of career counseling for college students and further explained how career counseling helps to overcome obstacles and chalk out the path to career success. Then the resource person Dr. Arun told significance of the topic. He started in a very light way by interacting with students by asking students to tell him about themselves. He also asked students about their future plans and further explained that skills, knowledge and ability are three main components for the success. He conducted mock interviews and through that explained students how to face interviews and answer various questions. Lastly he asked the students to adopt best practices and work hard that will pave the way to their career success. In the end, Mr. Ram Murti, H.O.D ., Department of Commerce extended his thanks to everyone presented in the lecture.
