Organized a lecture on the occasion of World Hindi Day The department of Hindi, G.M.N. College, Ambala Cantonment organized a special extension lecture on "global challenges and Hindi" on January 10, 2022, on the occasion of World Hindi Day in which the Keynote speaker was Dr. Amit Singh, Associate Professor (Shyamlal College (Evening) University of Delhi. Welcoming the keynote speaker, Dr. Rajpal Singh, Principal of the college said that Hindi is our national language and it is necessary to emphasize its use for its all-around development. We should register our expression in our spoken language only. Speaker Dr. Amit Ji Clarified the purpose of celebrating World Hindi Day, said that we should take a pledge to preserve that language, which we have learned to speak from birth. When other languages ??are translated into Hindi, then we will be able to know it. Translation works as a bridge between two languages. The coordinator of the lecture, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, while clarifying the importance of Hindi, said that it is the duty of the Hindi-speaking people to recognize the Hindi speakers living abroad through literature and respect the Hindi literature composed by them. Dr. Ritu Gupta while thanking everyone said that till we do not bring about employment in Hindi, we will not be able to connect the youth with Hindi. This is the meaning of World Hindi Day.
