The Legal Literacy Cell of GMN college organized an Extension lecture on the topic: Legal knowledge, fundamental & Women Rights". Dr Suriender Kalyan, Principal, Lala Aim Chand Monga Memorial College of Law, Ugala University was invited as the guest speaker. In his address Dr. Kalyan emphasised on the significance of constitutional provisions, special Laws related to women and girl child. He elaborately talked about the specific provisions for the upliftment of weaker sections of the society. In his address he also shed some light the double jeopardy laws, freedom to exercise one 's own religion etc. Convenor of the legal literacy cell Mrs Rachna Khanna expressed her gratitude to the guest speaker. Other members of the staff including Dr Nishtha, Dr Tripti and Dr Geeta Salwan were present during the lecture.
