Department of Political Science of Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt conducted an extension talk on ‘Dynamics of Party System and Federalism in India’ on November 19th 2020. Prof. Ranbir Singh, Research Fellow, Institute of Social Science, New Delhi presided over as a guest speaker. He is one of the most respected and renowned figure in the fields of Political Science. He has an experience of about more than 34 years of teaching at various levels. He has guided a number of Ph.D’s in the field of Political Science. He is retired now but still pursuing research. Principal Dr. Rajpal Singh welcomed him warmly and Dr. K.K. Punia introduced him to the audience which comprised of the students of Political Science i.e. U.G. students and P.G. students.
He influenced the students with his clear vision and impressive speech which was quoted with examples from day to day life.
At the end of the lecture, Prof. Ranbir Singh briefly touched upon the important points mentioned by him during the lecture and resolved the queries of the students.
Overall the lecture was very informative and all the students benefited from it. In this event Dr. Surander Singh, Dr. K.K.Punia, Dr. Saroj Bala, Dr. Tripti Sharma, Dr. Parvesh Kumar and Dr. Rakesh Kumar were present.
