Department of Political science and NSS units of GMN College organised an extension talk on the topic "Constitutional values and fundamental principles of Indian constitution. The extension talk was organized to cherisht he glory and reaffirm our commitment to uphold the ideology of great Indian constitution. Dr. K.K Punia, Director HIRD Nilokheri, Karnal was the speaker of the extension talk. He emphasized the importance of Constitution Day, the significance ofits celebration and commemorated the people who contributed to the development of Indian constitution. He highlighted the basic differences of Indian constitution than that of other countries with examples indicating the prerequisites of the constitution. The preamble of Indian Constitution India to be a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic which is aiming to secure justice, liberty, equality to all citizens and promote fraternity to maintain unity and integrity of the nation were stressed in his talk as these rights are necessity and are not a privilege. The talk was attended by students of political science department and nss volunteers with full enthusiasm. On this occasion Dr. S.S. Nain, Dr. Tripti sharma, Dr. Saroj Bala, Mr. Vishal were present.
