FDP program on Unlock the power of MS-WORD for Taching Staff
Faculty Development Program
The FDP program on Unlock the power of MS-WORD was organized by
Department of Computer Science in collaboration with the IQAC of the College on
14.9.2023 with the objective of enhancing the efficiency of teachers in content
delivery in both the online and personalized teaching. MS Word enables users to
do write-ups, create documents, resumes, contracts, etc. This is one of the most
commonly used programs under the Office suite. 40 teachers of different subjects
of college attended this FDP. The FDP was conducted by Mrs Neelam from
Department of Computer Science. An introduction to MS Word, its features and its
uses have all been discussed in detail in this FDP
The FDP included the below given topics:

? Formatting of Documents
? Advanced features of MS WORD
MS WORD is one of the easiest tools which can be used by both teachers and
students for creating notes. The teachers recognized that MS Word can help us to
organize and write documents more efficiently. They learned it is very effective to
use MS Word for notes preparations as they can be made more interactive by
adding shapes and images. All the teachers contributed to the success of the
programme by their active participation and keen interaction.
The FDP was concluded with a vote of thanks to the Principal of college.
