On 15th September, 2021, under the joint aegis of the Hindi Department of Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantonment and Rotary Club Ambala Industrial Area, a competition "Hindi Kavya Path Pratiyogita" was organized. The program was started by lighting the lamp in front of Maa Saraswati according to the Indian method. On this occasion, the Vice principal of the college, Dr. Anju Jain, while welcoming all the guests and participants said that Hindi language is not only a language but an expression of our values and Hindi is more than a language the energy and power of Indian culture. Om Banwali ji conducted the program. He warmly greeted the chief guest Dr. Satish Chandra ji while welcoming everyone present in the auditorium. More than 15 participants participated in poetry recitation competition in which Rabnoor stood first, Preeti second and Shalini stood third. On this occasion, Banwali ji, the principal composition of Rotary Club, provided information about the usefulness of Hindi language and its importance in Indian culture. Dr. Ritu Gupta, Head of Hindi Department, while welcoming all the visiting guests, appreciated their love and dedication towards Hindi and inspired everyone for the upliftment and development of Hindi language in life. On this occasion, a plant of Tulsi was presented to all the members of Rotary Club as a gift from the college. Dr. VK Jain, Dr. Sudarshan Gaso, Dr. Rajendra, along with senior college professors Dr. Rajendra Deshwal, Dr. Anish, Dr. Saroj, Dr. Kuldeep Yadav, Dr. Dharamvir Saini, Dr. Meenu Rathi and Madam Manjit Kaur were present in the auditorium.
