Department of Commerce in collaboration with the Department of Computer Applications organized one day Industrial visit to Netmax Technology Pvt Ltd, Sector 34 Chandigarh. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of a modern technology firm and to help them understand the practical application of the concepts they had learned in their coursework. Netmax Technologies is a leading provider of software development, web development, and networking solutions for clients across the globe. They are specialized in providing cutting-edge solutions in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the internet of things. Netmax Technologies was founded in 2001 and has since grown into a highly respected company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the staff and were given a brief overview of the company's history, mission, and values. They were then taken on a tour of the facility, which included the various departments of the company such as software development, hardware testing, and networking. Next, the students were given a presentation on the latest trends in technology, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the internet of things. The presentation also highlighted the various challenges and opportunities that the industry faces in the years to come. After that the students were given the opportunity to interact and were asked to clarify their queries. The visit concluded with a networking session where the students were able to meet and interact with various staff members from different departments of the company.
