Inter College Documentary competition
Department of Management & Mass Communication in
collaboration with Doordarshan Prasar Bharti organised an
Inter College Documentary competition on 27th Sep 2019.
The event started with inaugural speech by our honourable
principal Dr. Rajpal Singh in which he formally welcomed our
guest of honour Dr. Ashok Pandita. Dr. Pandita who earlier
worked as senior broadcast engineer emphasized on how
important it is to have passion & devotion for your work. Dr.
Geeta Salwan, vice principal G.M.N College has motivated the
students for an active participation in further activities.
More than 80 students attended this competition.
Contestants presented their documentary on various issues
such as Child Labour, Poverty, Unemployment, etc. In this
competition first place was secured by students of G.M.N
College who made a documentary on “Old Age Home- Apna
Ghar”. Students of S. A. Jain College grabbed 2nd place for
documentary on “Child Labour”. 3rd place was also secured
by students of G.M.N. College for documentary on “Child
Labour”.
Dr. Anju Jain, Convener I.Q.A.C & Dr. Ashok Pandita acted as
judges of the event. Dr. Bharti Viz thanked the Chief Guests,
college staff and students to grace this occasion with their
presence. On this event Dr. Ravneet and Dr. Amita were also
present.
