IQAC Second seminar on the topic “Understanding Criteria of SSR and AQAR”
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college organized second seminar on the
topic “Understanding Criteria of SSR and AQAR” under Professional Development Program
initiative on 17.09.2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Seminar Hall-II. 16 faculty members attended the
seminar. A review of AQAR to be uploaded in the month of September was done during the
program. While Criteria II was discussed in detail, revised criteria I was also taken up.
Dr S.K. Pandey discussed the revised criteria one that is curriculum planning and
implementation it was decided that number of courses should be updated based on actual data.
The day and month of introduction of new courses should be also be incorporated. Action taken
report based on the feedback analysis was also taken up and it was decided by the principle
that the fee might on be taken in two or more installments wherever required.
Dr S.S. Nain discussed criteria II. i.e., Teaching learning and evaluation it was observed that
programs in the previous section were continued for the current session also it was suggested
that the data related to the number of smart classroom and ICT enabled classrooms should
match with the data recorded in criteria IV. It was observed that many more honours and
recognition were received by the faculty members and the data should be updated as per the
existing record. That should match with the criteria 3.2.2 also. It was pointed out that the results
of PGDCA and other classes which were not included in the result column should be included. It
was suggested that teachers should put more effort to improve the results.
It was decided that the remaining criteria i.e., criteria III and IV would be discussed later on.
In the end, Dr. Anju Jain proposed a formal vote of thanks to the Principal and the members of
IQAC and NAAC team.
