National Webinar on the topic “Technological Advancements in Science" on 7.1.2022
Department of Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Electronics, Gandhi Memorial
National College Ambala Cantt organised a National Webinar on the topic “Technological
Advancements in Science on 7.1.2022. Prof. R. P. Dahiya, former Vice Chancellor CDLU,
Sirsa and DCRUST Murthal, was the chief guest and keynote speaker of the webinar. Dr. Raj
Pal Singh, Principal GMN College, set the theme of the webinar and introduced the guest of
honour. Prof. R.P. Dahiya enlightened us on the topic with deeper insights of the field
starting with basics, historical development current era of science connecting it with the
philosophical and spiritual aspects. He additionally reflected upon the technological
advancements in the field of Astrosciences, the hot topic of interest to all the curious minds,
with simultaneously interacting with the young minds present in the webinar. Total 131
students and delegates participated in the webinar. Mr. S. K. Bathla, Dr. S.K. Pandey, Mrs.
Upinder Kaur, Dr. Surjeet, Dr. Niyti, Dr. Neha Aggarwal, Dr. Namrata and Mr. Shyam,
Raheja were also present in the webinar.
