NSS SEVEN DAY CAMP REPORT FROM : 03-09 January 2020 Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. organized seven day camp in direction of the Principal Dr. Rajpal Singh and the leadership of the NSS officers. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Rajinder Kumar and Dr. Saroj Bala from 03-09 January, 2020. In this camp total 119 volunteers participated actively. In this camp volunteers organized various activities like, debate on social issues, extension lecture, poster making, awareness rally, sanitiation drive, first aid and home nursing training, Tree plantation drive, save water, save electricity, health check up camp and cleanliness drive etc. The camp started with the effective lecture of the principal Dr. Raj Pal Singh and the Chief Guest of the inaugural session was Prof. J.S.Nain (Former Principal D.A.V. College Ambala City). He addressed the volunteers with relevant examples. In the second day of the camp volunteers organized a sanitation drive in the college campus. In the third day of the camp volunteers take first Aid and Home Nursing Training by Sh. Narender Kumar Sharma, trainer, Red Cross Society, Ambala. In the fourth day of the camp volunteers visited the Gandhi ground and aware the people about sanitation and adhar card and also organized poster making competition on various burning issues. In the fifth day of the camp Dr. Saroj Bala NSS Officer organized a healthy debate programme. On the topic, “Role and importance of Leadership”. In the same day volunteers organized a awareness rally. In the sixth day of the camp tree planation drive organized in the college campus and Dr. Saroj Bala delivered a health conscious lecture. In the seventh day of the camp principal Dr. Raj Pal Singh delivered a Lecture on, “Role of Youth in social problems.” The Chief Guest of the valedictory session are Dr. Ram Pal Singh Principal D.A.V. College, Sadhaura, Distt. Yamuna Nagar. He addressed the volunteers with attractive speech. In the end says that the camp was ended with peaceful manner.
