One day workshop on National Education Policy- 2020
A one day workshop on “New Education Policy (Nai shiksha niti) 2020” was
organized at GMN college, Ambala cantt on 21 st Dec, 2022 at 10:30 am. Dr.
Anita Dua, prof. Department of biochemistry, Institute of Integrated Honors
Studies, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra was the keynote speaker on this
occasion.
In the beginning of the workshop, Dr Gurdev Singh, President, Governing body,
Finance Secretary, Dr Alok Gupta and Principal Dr V.K. Jain felicitated the
chief speaker by giving her a bouquet. After this, taking the program forward,
Principal Dr. V.K. Jain threw light on the objectives of this workshop. Keynote
speaker Dr Anita Dua explained in detail the background and future of the new
education policy. In her statement, she told that in the field of education, there
will be no loss of leaving the studies of any student in the middle and under the
new education policy, the students will also be technically competent. She
stated that traditional values have been added to the new education policy,
which will lead to all-round development of the student. In this new policy, the
responsibility of the teacher towards the students will increase even more. They
will not only impart the knowledge but also teach ethics and values. She told
that in the New education policy, there is an adjustment of multiple activities.
Language skills are the basis of the new education policy, in which the students
will be able to contribute to the society, country and global level through his/her
artistic language.
Dr Amit conducted the stage of this workshop in a splendid manner and Dr
Neha Aggarwal delivered vote of thanks. All the teachers of the college were
present on this occasion.
