Online Inter-College Creative Writing Competition
REPORT
The Department of English, G.M.N College, Ambala Cantt. Organized an Online Inter-College
Competition on 22 nd February 2021. Keeping in mind the Covid-19 situation, the competition was held
through online mode in which students were asked to send their poems & stories. A number of students
from various colleges submitted their poems and stories on varied topics such as nature, courage,
environment, life and social issues. The registration started on 15 th February 2021 and completed by
February 22 nd 2021.All the participants exhibited great zeal, confidence and their love for literature. The
compositions were very vivid and impressive. They gave full expression to their creative ideas and
penned them down in the form of beautiful stories and poems. The competition provided an opportunity
to budding authors to hone their creative skills.
With much deliberation among the judges, the final decision was based on originality, clarity and overall
presentation. The winners are as follows:
