Department of computer science and applications has organized an online national level power point presentation competitions. This competition was organized to spread awareness in students to lead a normal life in this predicament of COVID-19. The convener of the presentation completion was Ms. Neelam and coordinator for the same was Dr. Surjeet Singh. Its aim was to discuss the ‘Role of information technology in the crisis of COVID-19’. The topics of the presentations were:
? Modes of online education for maximum outcome.
? Social media apps to remain in touch while avoiding physical contact.
? Facility of Online shopping app for daily needs’ purchase.
? Effectiveness of health apps like “arogaya setu”.
The students were instructed to send their presentation in 8-12 slides by 23.5.2020. Students from Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi and Rajasthan sent their presentations. The result was declared on 26.5.2020.

The students took immense interest and put their enormous efforts to develop presentations. They all were very good. It was a hard task to select best out of so many entries from so much diverse places. The event was a big success and it suggested the various solutions to maintain social distancing while doing day to day task in this tough time of pandemic COVID-19.
