Students Training Programme on the topic “How to use different modules of ERP”
Department of Computer Science organized a Students Training Programme on the topic
“How to use different modules of ERP” under the governance of Dr. Seema Kansal,
Officiating Principal, G.M.N College, for students to make them well skilled with the
operations of ERP modules. In her address, Dr. Seema Kansal state that in today’s era of
Information Technology, ERP is the backbone of any College and all the tasks can be
performed resourcefully with the help of it. The programme convener, Mrs. Upinder
Kaur, Associate professor, Department of Computer Science, elaborate the different sides
of Enterprise Resource Planning. Further, Dr. Rajesh, Assistant Professor, Department of
Mathematics impart relevant knowledge with practical about how to use the ERP that
integrates all facets of different modules including - Creating account on ERP,
Attendance where he elaborate how to check their attendance, Feedback form. He gave
detailed information about Leaning Management System (LMS) - How to use Lesson
material, how to give test and assignment and see their assessment as they will attain
efficiency and it also save the cost as well as time Further, he describe modules that are
based on what best meet the specific need as ERP feature a rich set of cohesive
applications. He told that each ERP module is focused on one area that covers the
assorted dimensions of student academics requirements. This Students Training
Programme was initiated to address learning needs to meet performance standard and to
achieve goals. There were many pivotal areas of development which had been identified
keeping in view the organizational requirement, goals and objectives of this Student
Training Programme. Those areas were-

The mission of this development programme was to achieve resourcefulness in up
gradation and maintenance of students’ attendance management, Tests, Internal
Assessment to accomplish world class performance standards and the vision was to make
college dynamic and vibrant organization with students outstandingly technically skilled,
highly inspired and committed to their future goal. All the teacher of Computer Science
Department and ICT members were present at this event. At the end, he asks the queries
regarding any issue of ERP along with clears them with practical illustration further, he
informed and express his sincere thanks to all students.
