Tree plantation programme by NCC Units (Boys and Girls)
A Tree plantation programme was organized by NCC Units (Boys and Girls) of the college on July 15,2019. Before execution of the event, the cadets cleaned the area of the boundary wall of the college where saplings were to be planted. They separated all the plastic, bottles and waste material and dug holes with equal spacing.
The Principal, Dr. R.P. Singh, initiated the event by planting one sapling of Gulmohar. Addressing the cadets on the occasion, he appealed the cadets to plant more no. of trees for the pure environment. Prof. Moudgill was also present to motivate the cadets in this direction.
Around 30 cadets participated in this event. They planted almost 100 saplings of Gulmohar and watered them. The event was accomplished under the guidance of Capt. S.S. Nain and prof. Sujata Goyal (NCC Care taker). The media was also present to cover the event.
