NSS Units and Harit Haryana Cell of Gandhi Memorial National
College organized the Vriksha Bandhan ceremony on 5th august,
2020 under the aegis of DGHE Haryana. In this function 20 NSS
Volunteers participated with faculty members of the college along
with Programme officer Dr. Dharamveer Saini. Dr. Saroj and Dr.
Anish of College. They planted several varieties of medicine,
herbal plants and shade given plants. Dr. Raj Pal Singh, Principal
of the college congratulated the programme officers and NSS
volunteers for the contribution in the green India mission. Dr.
Singh said that if we take care of nature, take care of us in return.
He also motivated the NSS Volunteers and told him that sapling in
their home if possible or nearby your homes. Volunteers clean
and green the city with their dedication and efforts. On this
occasion Dr. Dr.Rakesh Kumar, Dr, Parvesh Kumar, Dr, S.S
Nain.,Mr. Brijesh, Miss Pinki and other staff members participated
in this event and contributed to nature for preservation.
